A Voice That Feels Like a Warm Embrace The Nicolaus Amati 1670 represents the mature, refined genius of the Amati family. Unlike violins that demand aggressive bowing to produce a sound, this Joyee replica is incredibly forgiving and responsive. It offers a signature velvety warmth in the lower registers and a silvery, soprano-like sweetness on the E-string. Playing this instrument feels like a warm hug in a concert hall—intimate, comforting, and deeply expressive.
The Joyee 1670 Amati Experience:
-
Effortless Response: Thanks to its beautifully sculpted higher arching—a hallmark of the Amati design—this violin speaks instantly. It responds to the lightest touch of the bow, making rapid string crossings and delicate phrasing feel effortless.
-
Pure, Uncluttered Tone: It doesn't roar; it sings with an aristocratic purity. The tone is highly focused and clear, making it an exceptional tool for refining intonation and developing a beautiful, singing vibrato.

The Art of Selection: Unique ID vs. Luthier Selection
At Joyee Violins, we believe a fine instrument is as individual as the musician who plays it. To help you find your perfect match, we offer two ways to select your instrument:
1. Unique Stock IDs (#11888, etc.) The photos in the gallery labeled with a specific Stock ID represent the exact instrument you see. When you select a numbered ID, you are claiming that specific wood grain, varnish shading, and character. What you see is exactly what will be professionally set up and shipped to your door.
2. Luthier’s Selection If you prefer to trust the expert eye of our master makers, choose "Luthier’s Selection." > * How it works: Our lead luthier will personally hand-pick an instrument from our current unlisted vault that meets the highest tonal and aesthetic standards of this specific model.
